Christopher’s Story

Christopher’s Story

“The kids make my job fun and less like work.”

Christopher started out with us as a childcare intern while he was getting his BS in Human Services at Cal State University Fullerton. He fell in love with the program and loved working with the kids.

After his internship he was hired on as a staff member and became the Childcare Coordinator of our Transitional Housing Program. He understands the importance of positively impacting kids who spend their formative years in this program. He runs childcare a few nights a week and Saturday mornings for the kids in that program, allowing their parents to attend classes, meet with case managers, or do chores. He sets up activities and behavior management for them, and also does parties for the kid’s birthdays.
