Before Mike came to HIS House, his life was a mess. Within a period of six months, Mike lost four of his closest family members. Deep in his grief, Mike became homeless. He felt alone and completely out of hope.

In his moment of deepest pain, Mike found HIS House. It was everything he was looking for to turn his life around. At HIS House, he found restoration and healing.

“HIS House gave me the tools I needed to change my life. It’s hard work but it’s definitely worth it. I learned how to budget and plan for all the expenses that come with renting an apartment. Now, I have the skills to succeed.” 

In just six months, Mike paid off two credit cards, and a total of $3,500 in debt. He was able to save over $1,800 to move into his own apartment in Fullerton. We are so proud of Mike and honored to have been a part of his journey to self-sufficiency!
