I would like to start off by saying how grateful and thankful I am to have been accepted into HIS-OC.

This place has really changed me and my kid’s lives for the better and it has brought us closer as a family and for that, I am so very thankful. I thank God each and every day because he brought me to a place where I felt welcomed. I want to say thank you to each and every staff member here at HIS House.

Being here I was able to pay off thousands of dollars in debt. Without this hand up, my entire family would have suffered without living in a safe home and suffered the mental stress of lost hope. 

HIS-OC has restored my family’s hope, allowed me to get back up on my own two feet and create a better life for me and my kids. Every day I will continue to thank God for putting me in this place and a big thank you to everyone who has helped me and my family.

I hope that each and every person that steps into this household will step out knowing that where they came from is a very special place.

I will forever hold this special place in my heart. I hope that if just one person’s life has been changed by my story then it would have all been worth it. I will continue to share my story because it is special and I’m glad that I’m able to say I made it and it’s now time to open up a new chapter in my life walking beside God.
