Shawn, a single dad, was living in fear for the lives of his three children. He fled an abusive relationship but had nowhere to go.

As a result, Shawn and his three kids became homeless. He knew he could not raise his kids this way. Shawn and his kids deserved better.

Shawn heard about HIS House through City Net, a team of nonprofit professionals who work to end street homelessness.  His family was joyfully welcomed into a safe and stable environment at HIS House.

At HIS House, Shawn received the holistic supportive services needed to rediscover his potential. Shawn gained important life skills such as building his resume, managing a budget, repairing his credit score, and eliminating debt. Every day Shawn takes another step towards living a life of long-lasting hope and self-sufficiency.
